33. Heavy and laborious steering

Cause analysis: the rolling bearings and sliding bearings of various parts of the steering system are too tight and the bearing lubrication is poor; The ball joint pin of steering longitudinal tie rod and tie rod is too tight or lack of oil; The steering shaft and sleeve are bent, resulting in jamming; Improper adjustment of front wheel toe in; The front axle or frame is bent or deformed. In addition, the steering wheel tire is out of air. Inaccurate four-wheel alignment data will also cause heavy steering.

34. When warm air is turned on in winter, there is fog on the windshield and sweetness

Cause analysis: when your vehicle uses warm air, this phenomenon is generally caused by slight leakage of the heating water tank in the cab. The fog on the windshield is caused by the air belt generated by the air blower in the vehicle, and the leaked antifreeze is blown out of the air duct and condensed on the windshield. At the same time, people can also feel the special taste of the antifreeze. At this time, turn off the fan, and the fog will gradually disperse.

Cause analysis: it is often caused by the "swing" of the front wheel during driving. The reasons are: the total balance of the front wheel is damaged due to tire padding or vehicle repair; Loose parts of transmission shaft assembly; The dynamic balance of the transmission shaft assembly is damaged; Shock absorber failure; The stiffness of leaf spring is inconsistent; Wear and looseness of steering system parts; Improper front wheel alignment.

 

36. It can drive normally, but sometimes it feels like emergency braking when stopping slowly and dragging when starting; High fuel consumption and limited speed at high speed

 

Fault determination: true fault.

 

Cause analysis: the fault may be on the brake master cylinder. Actual case: one car reproduced the above phenomenon, erected the car, disassembled and inspected each brake, brake wheel cylinder, caliper guide rail and hand brake cable, and no abnormality was found. No abnormality was found during the road test. After a period of time, the above fault reappears and cannot be pushed without braking. Touch the two wheel hubs with your hand, which is obviously overheated. After loosening the connecting bolts between the master cylinder and the vacuum booster, the brake is released and the vehicle can be pushed. Remove the master cylinder, measure the length of booster ejector rod and the depth of master cylinder piston with a tool, and it is found that there is no gap between them. This makes the oil return from the master cylinder incomplete, resulting in brake drag. After adding pads and adjusting the clearance between the master cylinder and the booster, reinstall and test run and eliminate the fault.

 

37. The engine makes deflagration noise during driving, especially when accelerating

 

Fault determination: true fault.

 

Cause analysis: the deflagration sound is similar to the sound of the valve stem, that is, the "click" sound. Because most new engines use hydraulic tappets, there will be no sound of excessive valve stem clearance, which is actually a kind of deflagration sound. This noise is mostly caused by the use of low-grade fuel.

 

Solution: use qualified grade fuel.

 

38. The vacuum hose has air leakage sound

 

Fault determination: true fault.

 

Cause analysis: when idling, a "hissing" air leakage sound will be heard in the upper part of the engine. With the increase of speed, the sound will gradually disappear, and the sound of cold engine and hot engine will not change. At the same time, when the engine is idling, there is also a "sudden" sound. Some accessories do not work because of insufficient vacuum. Although the sound is small, there are hidden dangers. The reason for the above failure is that after the vacuum hose is loose and falls off, the vacuum is generated due to the operation of the engine, and there is a large suction at the vacuum pipe joint, resulting in the sound of air flow.

 

Solution: check whether each vacuum hose and pipe joint is aged, deformed, cracked or fallen off. If it is damaged, replace it with a new one.

 

39. Wheel rim blackened

 

Fault determination: false fault.

 

Cause analysis: the reason for the blackening of the wheel rim is that when the brake is braking, the brake caliper and the wheel disc rub each other and wear some carbon powder. If these carbon powder are not removed in time, the aluminum alloy wheel rim of the wheel will also heat. These heat causes the carbon powder to coke on the surface of the aluminum alloy wheel rim, which will become a layer of dark brown hard surface, which can not be removed with water.

 

Solution: wash the rim frequently.

 

40. When parking on a slope, sometimes the "P" gear can not be moved

 

Fault determination: false fault.

 

Cause analysis: This is because when we generally stop, we step on the brake first and then put the gear handle to the "P" position. After lifting the brake pedal, the vehicle will move due to its own weight, resulting in the mechanical locking "claw" in the transmission being stuck in the claw groove, resulting in the feeling of laborious when moving the gear handle.

 

Solution: the correct operation method will avoid this situation. That is, step on the brake pedal, place the shift lever in gear P, pull up the manual brake, and then lift the brake pedal.
